Smiling Eyes and Open Hearts: An Irish Yoga Adventure
with Lisa and Rebecca

May 8  – 14, 2022
Delphi Valley, Ireland

Close your eyes for a minute & call to mind something that makes you smile.

No really, try it! Close your eyes & think of a person or experience, or something that brings a smile to your face. Just the thought might make the corners of your mouth lift up slightly, and you may find yourself feeling a bit happier, a bit lighter! Let yourself feel that joy for a minute.

When our lives become busy, sometimes we don’t make time to connect with others and find our smiles. We may be leading our lives from our heads rather than our hearts, which may leave us feeling stressed and disconnected. When that happens, the world seems less kind, and we may feel like something is missing.

Smiling Eyes and Open Hearts: An Irish Yoga Adventure with Lisa and Rebecca

Lisa and Rebecca find great joy in traveling the world and discovering new, magical places to host you for yoga, smiles, exploration, and healing. Deep within the wilderness of Connemara and South Mayo, there are breathtaking mountain vistas and brilliant views of the banks of the Bundorragha River, just waiting for you to visit. In May 2022, escape to Western Ireland for a week of yoga and meditation, reflection and connection, and plenty of time to relax and reclaim your joy.

Days will be gingerly anchored by sunrise and late afternoon yoga and meditation practices to nourish the body and soul. These practices will support you in tuning in to your mind and heart, and allowing space for you to experience them just as they are, without judgement. We will reignite the spirit of kindness and compassion for ourselves and for others, co-creating a heart-centered community for all to have space to explore inner and outer landscapes. We will cultivate balance in all things—activity and rest, time alone and time together, time to connect to mother earth and time to connect to our own inner wisdom.

There will be ample opportunity to explore and play, on your own and with others. In addition to our group yoga and meditation practices, the resort boasts of beautiful hiking trails and adventures such as kayaking, archery, and zip-lining. And if you prefer a more pampered experience, you can relax and unwind in the award-winning spa. This is YOUR time to spend as you wish, to provide yourself with much-needed care and kindness.

Your Instructors

Lisa Feder is a full-time yoga instructor and wellness consultant living in Austin, Texas. She has had a passion for all things wellness for as long as she can remember. While working for over 20 years in the corporate world as a strategic marketing specialist, she began teaching fitness classes in her free time. This led her to explore yoga, and she fell in love with the way it made her and her students feel—physically, emotionally, and energetically. After teaching part-time for many years, she took the leap and started Being Well Yoga, where she brings yoga on-site to companies to help employees learn how to live healthier, more balanced lives. She also teaches in studios, schools, senior centers, parks, and private homes. Her approach is balanced, and she likes to bring humor, challenge, and deep relaxation into her practices.

Lisa just completed her first book, A Year of Mindful Wellness, in which she shares accessible practices and habits to weave mindfulness into your daily life.

Lisa is especially interested in helping students find a yoga practice that really works for them, and she believes that yoga can provide more ease and comfort to all. She has seen the effects of a healthy lifestyle on her family as well and wants to share. Through classes, retreats, and workshops, Lisa loves helping people explore how to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives in a fun and sustainable way. She is working on her first book, about bringing mindful habits into your daily life. Her favorite thing is hearing about the positive changes her participants make for themselves.

Lisa, MBA, RYT-500, E-RYT-200, incorporates many yoga traditions into her practices. She has certifications in Hatha, Hatha Flow, Kundalini, and I-rest Yoga Nidra. She has had the opportunity to study with Donna Farhi, Sean Corne, Sarah Powers, Anodea Judith, Beth Shaw, Amy Weintraub, Gary Kraftsow, and Richard Miller. She is currently working towards her iRest certification, so that she can help people more deeply tune in to their true nature and find peace, calm, and relaxation. All of her wonderful teachers have shared wisdom that informs her teaching, and she is grateful to them all.

Lisa lives and teaches in Austin, Texas.

Rebecca’s yoga journey began about twenty years ago and has evolved into a place of quiet and solace. There was a time when she really enjoyed the physical challenge of a flow practice, but these days she’s more drawn to mellow asana and deep meditation. Her classes provide a safe, healing space well-suited for all levels of experience ‍and ideal for those seeking comfort and ease in stillness. She encourages you to delve into self-awareness by exploring the deeper, hidden layers of the self that are in need of acknowledgment and processing. She keeps classes as simple and quiet as possible in order to allow you to decompress and release.

Rebecca, Certified Yoga Therapist and RYT-500, is extensively trained in both the Hatha and Kundalini traditions, specializing in Yoga Nidra, Yin, and Restorative. She has trained with a diverse range of teachers exposing her to an assortment of styles. Some of her most influential include Paul Grilley, Yin and Judith Lasater, Restorative. Erich Schiffmann is her soul’s teacher, as he reminds her of the importance of trusting her inner guidance, remembering that we all are connected, and accepting that intuition is the true source of wisdom.

Presently, Rebecca resides in Austin, TX, and spends her days teaching yoga and meditation, and creating one-of-a-kind malas. She teaches at several studios around town, offers private classes in her home studio or yours, and teaches corporate classes during the week as well.
